BIO

Glenn Fisher was born and raised in New Jersey. He served three years in the U.S. Navy before graduating from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and embarking on a career at IBM. His travels have taken him to Africa, China, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Europe, the Caribbean and most of the United States. A fan of Jack Kerouac's "On the Road," Ernest Hemingway's "The Sun also Rises" and James Michener's “The Drifters” the author similarly explores themes common to young people everywhere who seek a new start, a lasting love and friends who help them navigate the world they live in. Glenn and his wife live near Frederick, Maryland. They have three children, three grandchildren, two snakes and a horde of hamsters. Glenn runs marathons, plays in a band and loves to travel and read.
His collection of short stories, "The Blue Tarp and other Nocturnal Musings" was published in Amazon Kindle Bookstore in April of 2022. His novel, “Gitmo and Back Again” was published in Amazon Kindle Bookstore in March of 2023. His novel, "Exile on Faith Street - The Journey" was published in Amazon Kindle Bookstore in May of 2024. His novel, "Exile on Faith Street - The Destination" will be published at a date yet to be determined (see Forward section of "Exile on Mainstreet - The Journey" for further information).
